My Personal Favorite & Affordable NYX BUTTER GLOSS
Hi again! I am back with another product that is cute and affordable for you. There are tons of lipglosses in the world. There are so many different colors and textures to choose from. Glosses can be considered as a base or top coat layer, I must say that I use it for both lol. One of my favorite things to do is to mix the colors to create something of my own. When it comes to Nyx Butter Gloss I feel like it blends so well with lip liners. It is known as America's #1 lip gloss and it gives off this lovely non-sticky feeling. Most of us know that when applying too much lipgloss it leaves behind these stringy lines that give off a very unpleasant look. It can also develop that thick white residue in the corner of your mouth. With this brand, a little bit can get you a long way. It can be worn anywhere at any time. The best thing about this lip gloss brand is the variety of colors they carry. They have a total of 35 colors and there's something for every time. They even have a clear version which is what I use as a gloss top coat after applying the color. I love to purchase the brown sugar set from Amazon.com which comes with Sugar High, Spiked Toffee, and Butterscotch colors. They also smell outstanding! Out of all of the colors, I would have to say my favorite one is fortune cookie! It's more of a light, pale color but when it's blended with a darker color it makes your lips look so great! Almost every store with a beauty section carries this brand. These places include Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Beauty Depot, Target, Walmart, and even your local beauty supply stores. I usually get them from my local hair store or Amazon for about $6. Some people may think that that's a little pricey but when you compare it to bigger brands like Fenty Beauty and Dior, you're saving tons of money. A set of three lipgloss from Fenty Beauty is $50 and the price of one Dior lip oil is $50. When you do the math you are saving 44 dollars. A set of three butter-glosses is 12.80. It's great quality and it lasts pretty long. You can also purchase this product from the actual nyxcosmetics website where it's $6 but they might also charge you for shipping and fees. In another store, I purchase them from Target for 5.99 before tax. So overall they are about the same price no matter where you get them from. They even carry different types of glosses of this brand too. These include Intense Buttergloss, soft matte cream, fat lip oil, this is milky gloss, lip plumpers, and more. This brand has so much to offer and that's a big reason why I'm so obsessed with it! This is another brand that will have you looking like a baddie for a very decent price, please count on it!
My favorite thing to do is something called a dark lip combo. It's when you use a dark brown lip liner, then place a layer of Spiked Toffee a little below it, and then finally apply that fortune cookie color on top and blend them. As I said before I like to use a clear coat to give it that glossy finish. You can always just use those $1 lip glosses from the beauty supply as a finish too. This is my favorite thing to do when it comes to applying makeup. Applying lipgloss is so fun to do, it gets you in that creative mood. I hope I helped out a lot, see you next time baddies!
