The best setting sprays to use!

HIIII BADDIES! Today we will be discussing why setting spray is important in your makeup routine, where you can find them, and the best ones to use for a decent price. So to start, setting spray is used to increase the lifespan of the makeup you've applied. This is a liquid mist that is made with water and alcohol. Another thing this product does is prevent smudges and fading. The cosmetic product's strict goal is to preserve applied makeup for long periods. Setting spray is necessary if you are someone who has very oily skin. If you plan to wear a full face of makeup this is also suggested for you as well. If you are one to constantly touch up your look this may not be for you but if you want that finishing look to stay on all day, this is something to invest in. These sprays do get a lot of backlash because people believe that they leave a greasy oily finish. Sometimes they leave residue depending on how much you spray. It's important to not pile it on. A benefit that this product carries is that it hydrates the skin (like other products we talked about) and paries well with drier skin types. Another thing to note is that it's great for people who don't apply a full face of makeup. For someone like me who only wears blush, mascara, and eyebrow pomade, this may be something I should wear. To tell you the truth, my blush fades out after a few hours of wearing. I constantly have to touch myself up in the bathroom to keep that solidified look. There may be a change in that if I start to wear setting spray. According to Allure.com, they listed 14 setting sprays that they think are the best. I must say that I can't complain. A spray that they mentioned that I also have seen people using followed by great reviews is from Milani (6/14). Milani's Make It Last Original Spray acts as both a primer and a finisher. It gives off a natural finish and is also waterproof. This can be found at Ulta Beauty (Walmart & Target as well) for $11 before tax. Maybelline New York Lasting Fix Makeup Setting Spray (5/14) is known for its light-as-air formula. It can be found at Walmart ($8) and Amazon ($10) but unlike Milani, it has a Matte finish and isn't waterproof. E.l.f. cosmetics Stay All Night, Micro-Fine Setting Mist (3/14) is referred to as the best drugstore find. As we all know, this is a brand that will always have your back. This product is also known for its featherweight and is known to last up to 16 hours. It gives off a matte finish and isn't waterproof. This can be found at Amazon, Ulta, and e.l.f. cosmetics as well. Rare Beauty which is Selena Gomez branded was rated #1 for the best setting spray. It has a lot of healthy minerals present to support the skin and is also a 4-in-1 primer. This can be found at Sephora but I won't say too much because it's $27 which is out of my blog's budget (lol) so buy at your own risk. Overall there are so many setting sprays that go for a fair price that are also ranked high. Unfortunately, this is the last blog that I will be posting for a while. This was really fun and I enjoyed sharing this with you all. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TUNING IN!
