WET N WILD LIP PENCILS
Hi Baddies! My favorite part of doing make-up is applying my lip applicators! I have nice full lips which I feel stand out so much on my face. Not to make things sad here but I was bullied for having huge lips throughout school. Going through that experience has made me learn to love my features so much more. I spend time every other day coming up with lip combinations because it's so fun to play around with lip liners. Like I mentioned a couple of posts ago I like to blend these with Nyx Butter Gloss to create that dark lip liner look. A brand that does that for me perfectly is Wet N Wild! Yes, WET N WILD. It took me so long to be able to find a brand that lasts on my lips for multiple hours a day and a pencil that doesn't run out super quick. This brand's pencils are 0.04 oz which may seem small but that's pretty large compared to other brands. Their Icon Khol Liner Pencil is a lifesaver and is very easy to sharpen. It also doesn't shrink quickly as you're sharpening it for better use. This is now the only brand that I use for my lips. These pencils can also be used to darken your brows but I prefer the roll-ons because they give that lift look that us girlies look for when doing brows. This is another product that is accessible just about anywhere. You can get this at wetnwildbeauty.com for 1.29 which is amazing compared to other brands like Nyx and L.A. Girl which are brands that I also used before. There isn't anything wrong with those brands I just have better outcomes with Wetnwild. For starters, the pencils are way smaller and shrink so quickly when sharpening. There were also times when I struggled to even sharpen these pencils because of how small they were. The Nyx pencils are about 5.00 before tax. The L.A. Girl brand is about 3.49 before tax. Not much of a huge difference but I am definitely saving more by purchasing wetnwild pencils. You can also find them at stores like Walmart, Walgreens, Target, iHerb, and eBay.com. I purchased them on Amazon for 1.29 (the same price as their website) because with Prime they get here within a day. I usually order the Brown Pretty In Mink and the Baby's Got Black because I am really into neutral color makeup. I purchased their Perfect Pout Matte Gel Lip liner which was 3.19 on Amazon.com. I don't think it's 100% bad but it bleeds a lot which isn't a good look at all. I also find myself having to touch it up just so it can continue to stay neat. I also purchased the Revlon brand which works well too but I don't think anything matches my favorite brand..... PERSONALLY. So, if you are actively searching for a great lip liner head over to wetnwild.com and pick your favorite colors. You won't regret it.
